Annual production exceeds 250000 tons! Honeywell eFining technology will be used for the Rotterdam eSAF project

Application of Honeywell UOP's eFining in Power2X's eFuels project located in Rotterdam ™ Methanol to aviation fuel process technology. The project will create a large-scale production and storage hub for sustainable aviation fuel (eSAF) and synthetic ultra-low carbon fuel, located at the Port of Rotterdam.

The project will use locally produced green hydrogen and imported methanol generated from green hydrogen and biochar as raw materials to produce e-fuel. E-fuel is a type of synthetic fuel that helps to replace the use of some fossil fuels.
