Spending 19 billion euros! Germany's 525 kilometer hydrogen pipeline network to be delivered by 2025
In October of this year, the German Federal Network Agency officially approved the so-called hydrogen core network project plan. According to the established blueprint, by 2032, the pipeline network will expand to 9040 kilometers, seamlessly connecting key hydrogen hub nodes in various states, covering seaports, production bases, and industrial clusters. The 525 kilometer section of early construction is expected to be completed and delivered by 2025. The total expected investment for the entire project is about 19 billion euros (equivalent to about 20 billion US dollars), and the funding will mainly rely on private capital. At the same time, the state government will introduce fee control measures to help promote it.
